The Fertile Garden:
Treating Infertility with Traditional Chinese Medicine
A five weekend Practitioner Training Course (60 NCCAOM PDA Credits)
Infertility, one of the hottest topics in health care today can often be successfully treated with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Using a 3-tiered approach integrating mind, body and spirit, practitioners will learn to empower their patients on the path to fertility. This course will focus on creating a simple and effective approach to "taking the case," will improve diagnostic skills and give the practitioner a sense of confidence when dealing with the challenges and complexities surrounding infertility. Lyn will share her clinical experience in the treatment of endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, irregular menstruation, low ovarian reserve, peri-menopause and "unexplained infertility" as the underlying issues affecting a woman's "fertility reserve." Students will gain a working knowledge of how Traditional Chinese Medicine can be a valuable and complementary modality when combined with Assisted Reproductive Therapy. Students are encouraged to bring cases to class for discussion.

A three weekend Practitioner Training Course (42 NCCAOM PDA Credits)
Whether you are starting a new practice from the ground up or just want to breathe new life into an existing one, this course can help you develop the clarity and confidence to build a successful practice. Starting from the planning stages and moving into daily business affairs, this intensive course will focus on the practical issues that arise in establishing and maintaining an Acupuncture/ Chinese Medicine practice. Lyn will share her 10 years of clinical and business experience in areas such as scope of practice, record keeping, marketing strategies, professional, ethical and legal issues, setting patient expectations and boundaries, financial strategizing, non-traditional career options, effective office management and how to hand pick the right management team to support your long range goals. Starting with a solid foundation and clear goals is the best way to ensure success in business!
